Laura Rich, M.D. and her three children.

Dr. Laura Rich is a board certified pediatrician who has been treating children since 1994.

She was born in Ohio and received a BA from Brown University.  Medical school and a master’s in epidemiology were completed at University of North Carolina.  Her training in Pediatrics was at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Rich’s interest in underserved populations took her to bush Alaska where she spent a couple of years on the frozen tundra as pediatrician to the Yupik Eskimos.  This was followed by two years at a clinic in inner city Baltimore.  For the past three years Dr. Rich has been in Jordan where she cared for Iraqi refugee children and taught Jordanian pediatricians with the United States Agency for International Development. 

She has now settled in Atlanta with her twin daughters age seven and son age five.  She looks forward to the continuity of care that allows a pediatrician the joy of seeing children grow through the years.
